O projeto de restauração do Mustang II pode ser considerado concluído, exatamente três anos após tê-lo encontrado apodrecendo em um quintal. Contudo, jamais este projeto estará totalmente terminado, porque sempre haverá algo para melhorar: Um painel mais novo, um novo carburador, a reorganização das linhas de vácuo, um acessório da época que aparece no e-bay...
Mas, com a conclusão do interior, o motor funcionando e o carro “street legal”, posso dizer que o carro, como projeto, está concluído.
Obrigado aos que acompanharam este projeto e meu web site, aos que assinaram meu livro de visitas e aos e-mails encorajadores e elogiosos que recebi durante este período.
Uma última sessão de fotos será adicionada no futuro, quando eu levar o carro para um cenário digno de retratar seu estagio final.

muito e ao Isaac, que encontrou este carro para mim. (ah, e claro, à minha
sempre compreensiva esposa!)
After three
years working my fingers to the bone, my Mustang
II restoration Project can be considered finished. Nevertheless, given that
it has not been professionally restored but yes with my “bare hands” (ok, almost
everything with my “bare hands”!), there will be always something to be
done: A new dashboard bezel, a new carb, vacuum lines better organized and a vintage accessory
that I may find on e-Bay will always
make a nice addition to the car.

However,
now that I have installed the last interior trims and the car is “street
legal”, it is finished as a Project.
Improvements will always be made, though.
When I have
the chance to take the car to a nice landscape, I will take some new detailed
photos to post them in the web site.
