Em Junho eu estava definitivamente decidido a retomar o ritmo do projeto aos poucos. Comecei limpando o painel (limpeza, de novo!) para que ele pudesse ser recolocado no carro. Mas, a principal decisão foi mesmo eu encarar a pintura do teto. Bem, não posso dizer que o resultado foi bom. Fazia muito tempo que não chovia e o ar estava muito sujo (esqueci das fogueiras de São João), muito vento e acabou a tinta no meio do caminho. Sem falar no pintor que não é bem assim uma Brastemp. Bem, o que fazer senão encomendar (e importar!) mais tinta e repintar o teto. Por outro lado, deu para ter uma idéia da cor final que o teto terá.

In June, I was definitely decided to resume the project activities (!). I started by carefully cleaning the gauge cluster (cleaning again!). However, the biggest decision has been to paint the vinyl top myself. Unfortunately, I cannot say I liked the results. The air was to dirty, the day to windy and the I ran out of paint! (not to mention the quality of the painter). Well, what else can I do besides buying more paint and repainting the vinyl top? It will take a while though because the paint needs to be imported. At least, I had a preview on what the top will look like...
