Junho teve mais ação. O carro continuava na pintura mas o pessoal da funilaria começou a por mais ação no carro. Depois de uma pequena "incompatibilidade de gênios" entre o fundo e a tinta de uma repintura anterior, o que obrigou o pessoal ter que decapar todo o pára-lamas depois que o carro foi para a estufa, o carro finalmente ganhou o fundo e estava pronto para ganhar a pintura PU definitiva. Enquanto isso, eu trabalhava em casa, no raro tempo livre, limpando, pintando e polindo peças e mais peças de dentro e fora do carro. Algumas delas ficaram como novas! O cambio (um Ford C4 automático) foi enviado para um especialista para recondicionamento.

June had more action. The guys at the paint shop worked harder that month. Some "irreconcilable differences" between the primer and a previous paint job that had been done on one of the quarter panels, obligated the guys to remove the primer completely and do all over again, The second attempt went much better and the car got to the end of the month with a very nice primer coat on it. Meanwhile, I was working back home cleaning, painting and polishing internal and external trim pieces. They were shining like new! The tranny was sent to a specialist for a complete reconditioning.
